First Impressions on KonoSuba Season 3

Posted on

The lovable idiots are back in this wonderful world that the god blessed. It’s KonoSuba season 3, 6a6y and it’s as shameless as ever. Mind I remind you this is the peak isekai show with no growth and harem trope. This is purely a parody of all the trashy isekais out there yet has better plot and character development. Starting off with Kazuma having a nice dream that turns into a nightmare due to the last incident from the Legend of Crimson movie.

Thoughts on KonoSuba Season 3 Episode 1

The episode mainly focuses on the usual day of the group at the starting town. Crazy how 2 seasons and 1 movie went by and they’re still settled there. Going on adventure is like going on a trip for them and after it’s done they come back. Which is what happens in this episode too.

They go out for a bit, finds a loot, returns home, and realizes something is screwed up. But that’s ok because a new adventure awaits. They’ll going out for what was shown in the trailer, which is attending at the royal family’s residence after getting an invitation. Kazuma’s reputaion does percieves him as well as him trashy attitude. But can you blame him? He’s gone through a lot of BS and hardly found any solace. But most of the trouble is brought upon by himself. I’ll spare the details and let you explore it yourself.

KonoSuba Season 3 Opening

Lastly we get to see the Opening that radiate a positive vibe of going on a new adventure. Then it shows the group’s team dynamic and they use their team work to take down a dragon. Yeah, they are kind of broken and can defeat anyone by being smart instead following the typical RPG rules. The opening song is “Growing Up” performed by Machico.

KonoSuba Season 3 Studio

KonoSuba Season 3 (known as Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 3/God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3) has a change in the animation studio from Studio Deen to Studio Drive along with the directors. The rest of the staff are the same as before.

Conclusion

KonoSuba season 3 is really back and I can’t wait for more episodes. The voice actors seemed to be having the time of their lives delivering the lines. I’m looking forward for the ending because KonoSuba endings are really soothing; it’s “Ano Hi no Mama no Bokura” performed by Aqua (Amamiya), Megumin (Takahashi), and Darkness (Kayano). Which is kind of fitting after all the craziness that happens all day. I might binge it since it’s that worthy.
