Sinopsis:
Suatu hari, ada makhluk terbang misterius yang bernama Zai yang tiba-tiba muncul di bumi. Makhluk ini sangat mengganggu kedamaian manusia. Karena manusia tidak tahan lagi, maka diciptakanlah pesawat tempur yang disebut dengan Daughter serta mekanisme tempur otomatisnya yang bernama Anima. Anima memiliki bentuk seperti gadis manusia yang diberi nama Gripen. Setelah itu dimulailah operasi pemusnahan Zai agar kedamaian dunia dapat terwujudkan kembali. Dalam perjalanan pemusnahan Zai, Kei juga akan terlibat dengan Guripen dalam berbagai macam aksi yang akan dilakukan.
